There might be a requirement where we need to show grand total for all the columns either on top or bottom in a text table report. If the report is having less data we prefer adding it to the bottom and if it is either case we prefer adding it on the top. I will show you how this can be done.
If you have a text table like below and need to add totals on the top for all the columns you just need to enable the feature which will do it in seconds for you.
Two settings needs to be done to achieve this:
1) Analysis >> Totals >> and select Show Column Grand Totals
2) Analysis >> Totals >> and select Column Totals on Top
After doing the first steps it will change to the below because by default it will show the totals at the bottom
After selecting the other option also mentioned above it will show the totals on the top as in the below screenshot
