if you have negative values like -1 and would like to show it as (1) this representations its so simple.
You need to right click on the number value and select format:
After clicking on format, on the left side select the field and click on the field required for you to do formatting, then it will show you the current format that is available for the field selected and in this case it is having number representation. Now click on the drop down which will ask you to choose, now here in the dropdown choose Number (Custom) and in the Negative Values: drop down you can select (1234) format which will make the value to be seen as enclosed in the braces rather than showing negative value as below:
