Menu dashboard action not working properly

The end users usually expect drill through for any kind of visualization for more details. As part of this we either use "Actions" which is available on worksheet and dashboard. You can apply the actions in different ways as mentioned below:

1) Filter
2) Highlight
3) URL

When I applied the menu action on the dashboard, it started behaving weird. When I mouse over that column for checking the action it does not appear. It does not show anything. Nothing happened when I click if I used "Menu" action. But the moment I changed the "Menu" action to "Select" it worked. It just used to appear as below when I change the action from "Select" to "Menu"

When I did some research on why it does not work, I realized that I did not enable the tooltip and it is really disgusting. It took me life long to understand. And then once I enabled the tooltip as shown below:

First go to the sheet and then click on the tooltip on the marks card as below:

In the above screenshot, select the checkbox that is there in the Edit Tooltip dialog box (left most) , which will enable the tool tip as shown below when I hover the mouse over the report.

Now when we click on the cell where the action is enabled you will be able to see a link in the tooltip which is automatically created because of the "Menu" action as shown below:

On click of the link show in the tooltip above it will redirect you to the detailed report based on your action.
